LiteSound

Local AI music and audio generation — prompt-to-WAV with multi-model support and full creative control

Overview

LiteSound is a standalone Electron application for AI-powered music and audio generation running entirely on your NVIDIA GPU. Describe the sound you want — instrument, mood, length — and LiteSound produces high-quality audio files locally with no per-track API fees.

LiteSound uses the shared Lite Suite account system. Sign in with Google from the top-right account button to start or restore your trial, or activate a Pro license key from Settings > License.

Generation Modes

Prompt-to-Audio

Type a text description ("upbeat jazz piano with brushed drums, 90 BPM"). LiteSound runs the chosen audio model locally and produces a WAV file ready for further editing.

Continuation

Provide an existing audio clip as the seed. LiteSound extends the clip in the same style, preserving tempo and timbre.

Quality Controls

Granular control over every stage of generation:

Output

WAV files saved to a configurable output directory. Files are named with a timestamp + the prompt slug so you can re-find them later. Open the output folder from the Generate panel after each run.

Requirements

  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX with at least 8 GB VRAM (12 GB+ recommended for longer clips)
  • OS: Windows 10 / 11 x64
  • Disk: ~10 GB for model weights + your generated audio
  • Python: Optional — Python sidecar enables specific backends; the basic flow works without it
